"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

MIYAKO FAN / TPE #74 & TESC #119...

Guess what?!? One of my dreams came true last week when Lori Boyd from The Pink Elephant (you know I LOVE that challenge) asked me to join their DT - WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! This is my first official card for them...

3 Layers, 2 Die Cuts and Ribbon

We were given this adorable little geisha digi to use (that's why I left her face white - lol - hubby said "you forgot to color her face") by Melyssa Connolly, owner and artist of Whimsie Doodles. Wanna a chance to win this image plus another cute geisha?!? Then play along with the challenge over at The Pink Elephant this week & you could be our lucky winner!

I like Taylor's sketch this week & thought it'd be perfect for this image! The paper is retired Stampin' Up!, which I used to paper piece her kimono. Then I used Copics to add the details to the trim & the inside of the sleeves. The fan is popped up with Pop Dots, and I actually folded it a bit. The tassel I made from floss. I found an Asian~ish font for the sentiment, which is tied with one of the threads from the tassel. The background panel was embossed.

Thanks so much for stopping by & make sure you play along at TPE for your chance to win this and another adorable digi stamp from Whimsie Doodles!

They must be so happy to have you on their team. This is fantastic! Every little detail is amazing. That fan and tassel wow! I was just looking at the new stamps and thinking how could I use her and nothing came to mind. Now.... I see what a real artist can do. You are amazing. Congratulations.

Hi Arielle!
I just came randomly accross your blog and I must say I found a lot of pretty things. :)
As I saw one of your card on an other blog, your name captured my attention. My daughter is also an Arielle. :) She is 2 years old. We are from Canada, but living in Switzerland.
I've put your blog address on my list of blogs to visit daily so I'll be back. Thanks for sharing all those marvellous things you do.
