"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

DREAMING OF HER WEDDING DAY / PDCC #53 & PPA #66...

I was thinking about this image today since my brother is getting married next week. When I saw the color challenge about an hour ago my plan started to come together! Who needs sleep anyway, right?

This image is just so delicate and lovely! It's called "Dreaming of Her Wedding Day" from A Day for Daisies. I just love it!

I used 2 challenges for this card - the Play Date Cafe's color challenge and Pals Paper Arts sketch! I decided to let the image speak for itself and just embellish it a little.

Bye for now...

FALL TIME KATIE & GRACE / MTSC #97...

YAY - meet Katie & Grace, part a brand new release from byLORIdesigns!!! Wait til you see these little darlings, you 'll be in love!!! They aren't really Puddle Junpers, they're PJs... starting to grow up!

When you buy these either of these stamps, you'll also get a version where the pumpkins have cute little faces - what a deal!!! Maybe I'll show you one of those tomorrow!

I used Mercy's sketch for this card, along with some awesome Nutmeg paper from Cosmo Cricket!

Gotta go for now...

FRIENDSHIP JAR [CREEPY CRAWLY] / SCIC #25 & CPS #190...

I tried using this set, Friendship Jar Fall Fillers, from Papertrey Ink last week after I got it, but I didn't like how the card turned out.... so I've been eager to try it again!

I barely finished this card in time to enter it into the Stampin' Celebration Challenge, only to find the linky not working! I also used this week's CPS Sketch #190.

It's so hard to tell, but I used black glitter on the stars. You might be able to if you click on the top pic & enlarge it. The Friendship Jar stamp set has a matching jar die, as well as the Fall & Winter add-ons - SO FUN!

Have a great night!

CANDY ELF / CQC #56 & Mojo #126...

HAPPY TUESDAY!!! We have a spankin' new colourQ for you today... sorta funky Halloween or Fall, if you will! I used a Candy Elf, from A Day for Daisies, which was probably intended to be a Christmas digi, but I thought he'd be cute in these colors, too!

Here's a better look at my "candy" button...

I have to go pick up Alex from preschool, so I'll pop in & finish this post in a bit!

FROSTY FRIEND GIFT~Y SITE / Digital Doodles...

I have a special treat for you this morning, a sneak peek for a new digi stamp, Frosty Friend, being released next Tuesday from Kathy Martin and her Digital Doodles at Two Peas in a Bucket!

I used this little cutie to make a gift set of oatmeal cookie mix, I thought my 'Frosty Friend' would make cute tags!!!

Be sure to check out the other ladies creations and enter to win Kathy's giveaway!

Bye for now!

BUNNY FOR HALLOWEEN / Act #53, CPS #87 & ADFD #4...

Only a few more days of Halloween cards... how sad! And then maybe I'll get tired of this gingham ribbon I keep wanting to put on every card!!! It's hard not to keep making spooky little cards, especially when I've been finding cute new digis like this one from A Day for Daisies called 'Bunny for Halloween'...

I made it a point to play along with Stacey's awesome color palette this week, Act #53 of the Curtain Call. She is such a sweet and talented lady! I started playing along with her jewelry inspiration challenges about 2 years ago - wow how time flies!!! I also HAD to use the Card Patterns Sketch - I thought that half circle would make a perfect full moon! And since this is mostly black, I thought I would enter the challenge again at A Day For Daisies.

We went to have pics taken of the kiddos this weekend, which can be best described by a single word - "nightmare". It took an hour to get 7 usable shots - lol! I can't wait to post some of them here!

Bye for now....

PRESLEY LOLLIPOP / SSSC #90...

This little sweetie, Presley Lollipop by Lori Boyd, has been patiently waiting on my craft table for some 'love', so I grabbed her for this quick card this evening... could she be any cuter?!?

I used Karen's Sweet Sketch, and obviously took some liberties! The paper is from October Afternoon, Farm Fresh and Fly a Kite. I ran the blue checked Fly a Kite paper through my printer to be able to paper piece her dress.

Have a great night!

HALLOWEEN MUMMY & KITTY KAI / USSIS# 78...

I'm on my way out the door to church, but with a family reunion later and a class tonight, I figured I better post this while I have a chance! Hope you're having a terrific weekend!

I started working on my card for this week's Unscripted Sketch challenge, but didn't finish it up until 1 o'clock this morning!

I used 2 of Mo Manning's images, Halloween Mummy & Kitty Kai. I layered them before printing them out 2 times, one to color & cut out and the other for the base layer to pop the colored image onto. I wanted to use them both like this and imagine that they are Alex and Maisie Grace! Aren't they darling? You can get the Mummy here and Kitty Kai here. To see more of Mo's images in use and get some amazing inspiration, go visit the Dream Team's blog!

Bye for now...

HAUNTINGLY DELIGHTFUL [trick or treat] / TSG #77 & 2S4Y #64 Bonus...

Happy Friday!!! Here's a quick card using another image from Hauntingly Delightful, by There She Goes Clear Stamps.... it's so cute I just love it!

How cute is this little ghost? This paper is retired SU!, and I've been using it on a few cards lately, newsprint seems to really be "in" right now. I used one of the bonus sketches from 2 Sketches 4 You and the challenge from There She Goes.

I've been playing around a lot lately with embossing my patterned papers, I kinda think it looks neat! The sentiment is computer generated.

Hope you have an awesome weekend!!!

THE BIG ONE / Mo's Digital Pencil Dream Team's One Year Hop Anniversary!!!

Today I am lucky to be celebrating with Mo's Dream Team their 1st Anniversary of blog hops!!! What a great month for me to be a guest designer!!! If you came here from Rosette's gorgeous, inspiration packed blog, then you are in the right place! If you may have missed something along the way or are just finding this post, you can go back to Mo's Dream Team Blog & start at the beginning!

I used the darling image "The Big One" for today's contribution to the hop. You can find him here. The theme of this month's hop, hosted by the amazing Kerttu is 'frogs & snails & puppy dog tails'... so I thought this cutie would be perfect! After the hop, please join us by creating a card of your own for this theme and adding it to Mo's Dream Team Blog. We would LOVE to see what you come up with to help us celebrate!!!

I used a rather loose interpretation of this week's sketch by Kazan from 2 Sketches 4 You. The paper is from October Afternoon, Farm Fresh. I printed the image on white cardstock & then tea stained it after coloring with Copics. My card smells like Chai - lol! The pumpkins to the bottom left were colored from another copy of the image, cut & popped on with dimensionals.

Your next stop is the super talented Lori - and I KNOW she'll have something SPECTACULAR for waiting for you! And don't forget to join us by creating a card of your own from one of Mo's fabulous images & posting it to the Dream Team blog to help us celebrate!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
