Okay, this is a funky colored Easter card I know... but that how I roll -LOL! These are 2 new images from the Wax Fruit Company, Grecian Rose and Buttons & Trim. The card from was set up using a photo editing program and then printed & colored with Copics...
I decided to use this image, Study of Tulips for today's colourQ card! The colors seemed perfect! And I really loved the Fall-to Layout for this week, so I used that sketch!
I tied the ribbon under the top panel and left the bow hanging out a bit... I thought it looked kinda neat.
This is a rustic little digi called Windmill. As I mentioned before I love landscapes, and on the outskirts of where I live are miles and miles of farmland... sadly those miles seem to be shrinking a little more each year. The major crops here are peanuts and cotton - lots of both! And although we don't really have red barns here, I thought this one needed to be red. Most of the windmills I see these days are on their last leg, too... sigh!
A sweet lady named Brenda asked if I would draw a special image, and here it is...Magnolia! This sample was colored with Copics and the ribbon is from my sweet friend and partner in crime on a couple of DTs, sherryann! She dyes it by hand, and it's gorgeous! If you'd like to purchase some, send her an email - email@example.com!
How sweet is this image? Tammy's new release at A Day For Daisies is all about birds... I just love birds - I have 2! This image is called Afternoon Snack, and you can find it here.
Bye for now...
My newest image is called Easter Pig! When I was little my dad always teased me that there was no Easter Bunny, just an Easter Pig. In recent years he has managed to find Easter Pig cards and figures for me... this image is based on a figurine he gave me a few years ago.
I'm hosting the new challenge over at Crafter's Digital Art Center for the next two weeks. This image, Crocus, is available as a freebie there for playing along with the challenge. You can find it here!
This is a new set called Apple of my Eye. I decided it would be fun to paper piece, and I ran the paper through my printer!
This card is based on Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch # 1o9.
